Canada Warbler

Don't expect this little bundle of energy to sit still for a portrait. The Canada Warbler is a restless, animated spirit, constantly fluttering through the cool, damp thickets of mossy mixed forests and cedar swamps. A master flycatcher, it spends its days executing acrobatic mid-air twists and hops to snatch insects right out of the breeze. Its song is just as lively as its movement, a sweet, chaotic burst of rich, chip-like notes that sounds like a cheerful, improvised melody rushing to finish itself.
