My Story

Welcome to Wild & Whimsy Fiber Art Studio—a cozy, creative haven where nature, animals, and a touch of childhood nostalgia come to life through the art of needle felting.

Handcrafted with Heart

Every sculpture begins with natural wool and a bit of imagination. From the first wisp to the final detail, my creations are made slowly and intentionally, by hand. I also welcome custom orders—whether it's a special gift, a tribute to a beloved pet, or a scene from your own woodland daydream, I love bringing your stories to life through felt.

Inspired by Nature Therapy

There’s something deeply healing about nature: the gentle rustle of leaves, the quiet of a forest path, the simple joy of birdsong. Each piece we create is infused with that same calming energy. Our felted animals are tiny messengers of nature therapy—gentle reminders to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the world around you.

For Animal Lovers, Dreamers, and Kindred Spirits

At Wild & Whimsy, we celebrate the inner child in all of us. Our wool felted animals are not just for kids—they're for anyone who finds joy in soft textures, playful details, and heartfelt design. They offer comfort in tough times, a sense of companionship, or simply a smile at the end of a long day. They're crafted with care, personality, and a spark of wild whimsy to bring a little joy to your home or workspace.

Meet the Maker

Hi, I’m Tanya — the hands and heart behind Wild & Whimsy Fiber Art Studio.

My journey into fiber art began with a love for storytelling and a longing to capture the magic of the natural world in something you can hold. I work primarily with wool roving, shaping each sculpture one tiny poke at a time, with great care and intention.

My inspiration often comes from walks in the woods, changing seasons, and the cozy charm of handmade things. I hope my creations make you smile — and remind you of the gentle magic all around us.

Thank you for being here, and for supporting handmade art that’s rooted in nature and made with love. 🩷 🐿️ 🐞
